There is an interesting article in the Wall Street Journal about the recent trend of home builders offering incentives to entice buyers. Incentives are nothing new, but builders have taken it to the next level. Incentives include property taxes, mortgage payments, free pool, interior upgrades, electronics and furniture. The article states that 56% of builders are offering incentives.
