The Sapphire Shores neighborhood is located in the historical Museum District which begins at Whitaker Bayou and ends at the John and Mable Ringling Museum. Towering oaks trees covered in Spanish moss and beautiful Sarasota Bay view's highlight this prestigious neighborhood. You'll find larger properties here on the south side of the Museum. There's a collection of historic mansions that date by to the 1920s during the time the Cá d Zan and the Ringling Museum were built.

Sapphire Shores and Indian Beach make up Sarasota's iconic "Museum Area." Sunsets in the Museum area are incredible. and many residents gather in the evening at the little beach at the end of Indian Beach Drive to enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Sarasota Bay.
